  • Lead surgical support services across CSSD, equipment and theatre operations
  • Step into senior operational or frontline CSSD leadership
  • Permanent full-time roles with competitive salary packages

cmr | Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is partnering with an established private not-for-profit healthcare provider in Brisbane to recruit two key positions within its perioperative services team: a Surgical Support Services Manager and CSSD Team Leader.

The Surgical Support Services Manager is a newly created senior operational leadership role with responsibility across CSSD, Theatre Orderly Services and theatre equipment management. Working closely with senior perioperative leadership, the position will bring greater coordination across equipment and instrumentation, asset lifecycle planning, workforce utilisation and operational support, with a clear focus on improving theatre efficiency and service delivery.

Reporting into the Surgical Support Services Manager, the CSSD Team Leader will provide day-to-day leadership of the sterilisation team, coordinating workflow, staffing and service priorities while ensuring the safe, efficient and timely reprocessing and distribution of reusable medical devices and surgical instrumentation.

Together, these opportunities provide scope for experienced healthcare operations and CSSD professionals to take on greater leadership responsibility within a complex hospital environment. The CSSD Team Leader opportunity may particularly suit an experienced Senior Sterilisation Technician or Coordinator ready to move into formal leadership.
