cmr Becomes Carbon Neutral Partner

This festive season we’re planting 2,000 trees on behalf of our valued clients and healthcare workers. This is part of our commitment to sustainability through the Carbon Neutral Plant-a-Tree Program. Additionally, we are proud to share that we are now an officially recognised Carbon Neutral partner, reaffirming our dedication to environmental responsibility.
The Carbon Neutral Plant-a-Tree Program focuses on restoring degraded farmlands in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor, a global biodiversity hotspot in Southwest Australia. This region is home to unique plant and animal species at risk of habitat loss. By funding native tree planting, we help restore ecosystems that provide clean air, reduce soil salinity and erosion, recycle nutrients, and support wildlife.
To date, Carbon Neutral has planted over 30 million trees, restoring 16,000 hectares of land. Our contribution this year furthers the mission to heal these landscapes and ensure a healthier, more sustainable future.
At cmr, we understand that caring for communities goes beyond healthcare—it extends to the environment we all share. As we continue to place healthcare workers in rural and remote areas, our partnership with Carbon Neutral underscores our commitment to both people and the planet.
